Daya is a painter, artist and Illustrator, based in the UK.
Inspired by traditional South Asian culture, fashion and film she uses a contemporary visual approach to convey portraits, animations and fashion illustrations. Daya has previously exhibited at Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Ikon Gallery and New Street Station. Daya’s work has been appreciated and shared via Instagram by various influencers and celebrities such as JLS, Mickey Singh, Bambi Bains, Erim Kaur and more.
Daya takes on a variety of different projects including but not limited to bespoke portrait commissions for all occasions, animated stories, artwork for businesses and other commercial illustration. She also accepts commissions for hand painted clothing which is a perfect as a gift or to mark special occasions.
