CAMPAIGN // ‘WOMAN OF ESSENCE’ - NEW BUSINESS CASE STUDY


SUMMARY

Nadia’s Collection is a range of exclusive and luxury inspired jewellery, and Zainab Khan beauty is an up and coming bridal make up artist . Both brands were new to the industry and wanted to raise awareness of their offering. With both brands being built on heritage with influence from a Pakistani background, Inside BIBI proposed a collaboration portfolio shoot with Pakistani influencer Shaanzay Sheikh. The campaign was amplified across social media, showcasing the best of both brands, and generating new leads for these industry rising stars.

BACKGROUND & CHALLENGE

Nadia’s Collection boasts a range of exclusive Arabic, and Islamic calligraphy jewellery as well as bespoke super luxe designs, that seeks to extend the beauty of art far beyond a painting on the wall. As a new, start-up business, Nadia wanted to showcase her new Spring collection to brides looking for something different, yet embedded in heritage.

Zainab Khan Beauty is a young, up and coming makeup artist, who has already drummed up a significant Instagram following. To attract more bridal hair and makeup bookings, Zainab wanted a bespoke portfolio service to showcase her talent and Spring/Summer bridal trends.

Both brands had a similar vision, and prided themselves on their Pakistani background- one of the leading influences behind their work, but were both new in the industry. Knowing this, and to create a seamless portfolio experience, Inside BIBI proposed a collaborative shoot.

HOW WE DID IT

To bring to life both brands’ vision whilst remaining true to their joint heritage, the Inside BIBI team engaged Shanzaay Sheikh, Pakistani Influencer and Editor-In-Chief of People Pakistan. As a leading and trusted influencer in the world of fashion, beauty, lifestyle and accessories, Shanzaay was the perfect fit to head up this campaign.

All aspects of the shoot, including creative direction, was organised by the in-house experts at Inside BIBI, with equal amounts of fun and hard work! The finished portfolio showed Shanzaay as an opulent modern Pakistani bride, with Zainab’s classic makeup and Nadia’s bejewelled creations adding a modern twist. 

Our in-depth knowledge of the bridal market at Inside BIBI has taught us that April is a popular time for brides-to-be searching for suppliers, ahead of the summer wedding rush. To amplify this campaign and cut through the noise during this time, all creatives who took part in this campaign would push out the content on the same day, flooding Instagram’s timelines with the stunning content. 

Shanzaay, with an Instagram following of 461k, helped to drive further excitement by shooting exclusive ‘Behind the Scenes’ content, and shout-outs on her Instagram and TikTok accounts.

RESULTS

Our strategic and creative planning, in addition to our cross-marketing approach across all creative’s Instagram profiles had a combined reach of over 500k, helping to generate enquiries for both brands. 

People Pakistan also shared the campaign on their social accounts with another 234k following, helping it to go viral both in the UK and abroad.
